In June 2012 Mr. Bubeck premiered the role of 1st Countertenor in John Adams' newest oratorio, The Gospel According to the Other Mary with the Los Angeles Philharmonic conducted by Gustavo Dudamel. He will reprise the role in Spring 2013 for an international tour with the Los Angeles Philharmonic in a staged version by Peter Sellars and conducted by Dudamel. This tour includes performances in Los Angeles, New York City, Paris, London and Lucerne.

Other upcoming performances for Mr. Bubeck include the role of Arsamene in Handel's Serse with Indiana University Opera Theater conducted by Gary Thor Wedow and directed by Tom Diamond, El Niño with the London Philharmonic conducted by Vladimir Jurowski and further perfomances of The Gospel According to the Other Mary in Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw and Chicago’s Ravinia Festival.

The highlight of the evening was Mr. Bubeck's realization of "Father in Heaven" from Judas Maccabaeus. Here, this young singer dazzled with purity of tone, and the unique setting within a temple added a level of poignancy. The crowd felt this, as well, and Mr. Bubeck was deservedly accorded the one curtain call of the night.
